Sinclair Lewis Boyhood Home

BUILT IN 1889, the Sinclair Lewis Boyhood home is where Sinclair Lewis spent his formative years in Sauk Centre. The home, a National Historic Landmark, is wonderfully preserved and open from Memorial Day to Labor Day. This is a popular tourist attraction and is a must see if you are in the Sauk Centre area.

*The Sinclair Lewis Foundation, is pleased to announce that we will be open for tours beginning right after Memorial Day, to be exact Wednesday, May 29, 2024, this will be the official start date of our tour season, through August 31, 2024. In addition to scheduled hours, we are available for special group or bus tours by contacting the following number, (320) 429-5216. Tours are available from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM on Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays.

Admission Prices: Adults (ages 18 and over) $10 per person

Students (ages 5 - 18 years of age) $7 per person
